A Glaze were pleased to receive confirmation from Scott Bader that after extensive testing in house and outside by an independent testing house (Satra) showed that our system has the following benefits: When compared to an un-treated Gelcoat surface over the testing period of 4 years the A Glaze system with the regular annual applications does appear to offer some benefits to the maintenance of the surface quality, particularly with regards to gloss retention.

We also have carried out detailed testing on our A Glaze sealant for the marine industry at the request of a company called Scott Bader who manufacture gel coats for a number of boat manufacturers world wide. This testing proved that A Glaze protects the surface of the gel coat against UV rays and harsh conditions in high temperatures that the gel coats will not fade in these conditions if protected with A Glaze.
