Bio protection is 100% effective against all strains of S.Aureus including known resistant ones resulting in better management of bacteria, fungi, moulds, yeasts and algae. Bio protection products contain silver ions, a natural anti-microbial with high efficacy against over 50 different organisms including bacteria, moulds, yeasts and fungi. The unique slow release technology in Bio protection products allow for the silver to work over an extended period of time.

1 It destroys the outer membrane of the germ resulting in cell death
2 Silver enters the inside of the germ via microscopic channels and destroys the liquid (cytoplasm) inside the cell
3 Silver interferes with the DNA replication process causing the germ’s inability to replicate: if a germ cannot reproduce, it cannot spread.

Silver is an ancient natural antimicrobial and has a natural ability to kill germs, mould, algae etc. We then developed a silver spray which could be used on the canopies. Once sprayed onto a canopy it will kill any living bacteria and stop it from returning for a year. Silver can also be used in the house on surfaces and surfaces within the boat to stop bacteria from growing during humid conditions.

This then lead to a range of products including a silver bath gel, foot cream which has been successful in killing athletes foot and silver hand cream which has been introduced into care homes.

We then went onto develop a silver air purifier. With the climate as it is and dirt and grime in the atmosphere, the need for car air conditioning to be constantly on is increasing especially in Asia. The silver air purifier can be used in conjunction with a cars air conditioning system to rid the car not only of unpleasant smells such as diesel or spillage smells such as milk but also to kill and germs that exist within the car.

Air purifier is ideal for a number of industries as you can see. Again British Airways are testing the silver spray to use on the planes in between flights to kill any airborne bacteria on the plane. They will use our fogging system for this which is a system used for large areas of coverage.

Before starting the test the counter tops were cleaned using alcohol just like normal. Using a template of 2¼ inches after the countertop was cleaned with alcohol and left to dry. This is our normal procedure. Two circles were carefully drawn with only the tip of the marker touching the countertop, the countertop was then swabbed. One of the circles was sprayed with the Silver Safe solution. The circle was carefully drawn with only the tip of the marker touching the countertop. This whole part of the test was done at 5 am before any work for the day had been started.
After working in this area for the day which consisted of approximately 4 hours, the test areas were re-swabbed the results are shown in the table below. Two separate tests were run. Both tests were done the exact same way.
